Michael Perham, who skipped school to make the trip, will still be just 14 when he sails into Nelson’s Dockyard in Antigua, after an arduous six-week crossing 3,500 miles of open water from Gibraltar, followed by his father. (reuters)

I think I was probably locked in a vicious match of Street Fighter II. This kid is sailing across the Atlantic Ocean and tying a rope around his waist to jump overboard and cut free his steering gear. You can read his personal blog at sailmike.com.
