I’ve recently had the need to find out what colour was being used on various websites and couldn’t find an easy way to do it. I recalled an application that would let me use an eyedropper anywhere on my screen but couldn’t locate it at first. I also searched to see if the Mac did this natively, but could not locate the fact. Then, while skimming some Mac app blog I discovered the application: Pipette. Pipette will let you find the colour of any item you hover over — anywhere. Nice.
