Last.fm starts charging some countries for streaming radio

They want 3 pounds (that is roughly $5.50 CAD after the banks take their mark up) for the streaming of their catalogue. That’s a little rich for my blood. It will be interesting to see what the backlash is — and I suspect it will be minimal as the UK and the US will not be charged yet for streaming.
