An impressive bit of technology is being created that takes a photo and combines it with already existing georeferenced digital terrain and urban models. Once this has been done the photo can be cleaned up, relight, and countless other amazing feats. One of the most impressive is the ability to overlay relevant information about objects in your photo i.e. building names, roads, etc. Imagine being able to take a photo with your cellphone and instantly having an overlay that tells you which building is which, along with deep links to other information on the Internet.
